Honoring Our Heroes
This is an essay project complimenting the school district's character education initiative. Students write about real life heroes who made a difference
in their lives. Created in 1996 by Past Council President Lillian Lurye, it grew to one of our most inspirational and rewarding endeavors. ECCC PTA recognizes
winning essayists and their heroes at a reception held in March each year.

If you are looking for
a way to show others your talent as a visual artist, music composer, short story writer, dance choreography, film/video producer, or photographer;
don't miss the PTA'S annual Reflections Program!
Think about what it means to you, and let your talent shine by creating an
original piece of artwork in any of the following six categories:

Consequences of Crimes
This is an educational field trip to the Cobb County Work
Release Center, which was developed by Past ECCC PTA President, Margie Hatfield. Students from the 5th, 7th, 8th, and high school visit the jail on an
assigned date to discuss the Consequences of Crime. They spend two-hours focusing on shoplifting, smoking, alcohol/drugs, or drinking and driving. For
