Due to some confusion at the 8th grade articulation meeting on Tuesday at Walton, we want to clarify that ninth grade honors courses do not receive an additional quality point. This includes Accelerated Math I, Freshman Physics/Chemistry 91 Honors, World Geography 91 Honors, and Ninth Lit/Comp 91 Honors. The Biology 101 Honors course receives ½ of a quality point as it is a tenth grade course. The AP Human Geography course receives 1.0 quality point as do all Advanced Placement course. We hope this clarification helps you in the decision making process.
